Dark is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. The notion of time has long fascinated me and this show really bends the idea around the linearity of time. Why do we make the decisions we make? And if you could go back in time, would you have thought of all the dominos that would fall if you were to change something? Maybe all of time lies in the billions of parallel worlds that exist for each one of us. Perhaps it doesn’t have to be that we limit ourselves to be defined by an education, an environment, a path we found ourselves on. Perhaps we do have the ability to live out several lives. William Gibson said, “the future is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed yet.” So perhaps all of what is to come is already happening. The question isn’t whether you can change it. The question is, can you recognize it?
